VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA)

Foreigners can obtain VOA upon arrival in Indonesian territory, if their country is included in the list of countries that can obtain VOA. VOA is given for a maximum length of stay of 30 days and can be extended once with a maximum length of stay of 30 days.

Necessities and Requirements

Necessities :

VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA) can be used for:

  • Visiting cooperation event between governments of other countries and Indonesia;
  • Vacation;
  • Family/Social purposes;
  • Cooperation between foreign and Indonesia educational institutions;
  • Short training period purposes;
  • A journalistic purposes that have obtained permission from authorized agency in Indonesia;
  • Non-commercial film making which has obtained permission from authorized agency in Indonesia;
  • A business meeting in relation with buying or selling goods, services matters as well as monitoring the quality of goods or production;
  • Provide lectures or attend non-commercial social, cultural or governmental seminars after having obtained permission from the relevant agencies;
  • Attending meetings held with the head office or its representative in Indonesia

Requirements :

  • Travel certificate or passport with a minimum validity period of 6 months;
  • A return ticket or a one way ticket to continue the journey to another country, except for the crew of the transportation vehicle who will stop over to join the ship and continue the journey to another country;
  • Color photograph;
  • Name of applicant is not registered in the detention list; and
  • Pay fees in accordance with applicable regulations.
