KITAS & KITAP Services

Limited Stay Permit is a type of immigration permit given to foreigners to stay in Indonesian territory for a limited period of time.

KITAP (KARTU IZIN TINGGAL TETAP) is a document owned by a citizen who already has an ITAS (IZIN TINGGAL TERBATAS) or Limited Residence Permit, who has lived in Indonesia for 5 consecutive years.

Document Requirements

Foreign Manpower Utilization Plan (RPTKA)

RPTKA is a plan for use of foreign workers in certain positions made by the employer of foreign workers for period determined by the Ministry of Manpower. Under certain conditions RPTKA can be given for a short period of time depending on the nature and type of work required by the employer and cannot be extended.

Issuance of Expatriate Employment Permit (Notifikasi IMTA)

A permit to employ foreign workers in accordance with the provisions imposed by the government/local Ministry of Manpower. This Notifikasi IMTA is used as a recommendation for foreign workers to obtain a Telex Visa (e-visa).

TELEX VISA (e-visa)

A visa issued electronically by an authorized official which contains approval for foreigners to travel to Indonesian territory and forms the basis for granting a stay permit.

Temporary Stay Permit Card (KITAS)

KITAS is a type of immigration permit given to foreigners to stay in Indonesian territory for a limited period of time.

Permanent Stay Permit Card (KITAP)

A document held by foreigners who already have Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) and have been living in Indonesia for 5 consecutive years.

MERP ( MULTIPLE EXIT RE - PERMIT )

A permit issued by local immigration for KITAS online holders. This permit is used by foreigners to enter and exit Indonesia. This permit is in the form of an immigration stamp in the passport.

INDONESIAN POLICE REPORT LETTER (STM)

A permit issued by the Regional Police or the Local Resort Police to foreigners according to domicile of the foreigner during their stay in Indonesia. Foreigners are required to report their presence no later than 14 working days after arriving in Indonesia so that the presence of the foreigner can be recorded in the police data.

Residence Certificate for Foreigners (SKTT)

SKTT is a certificate issued by the Department of Population and Civil Registration for foreigners with a limited stay period and with binding regulations.

Report of Foreign Employee to Regional Manpower Ministry Office (LAPORAN KEBERADAAN)

A reporting to One Stop Integrated Services in each district or local Manpower Office in accordance with the domicile of the company where the foreigner works stating that the person has arrived and is ready to work at the company.
